 Forged from solid brass the Navigator ships bell clock is 7" in diameter and 3-1/4" deep. The highly polished screw bezel case weighs 5 pounds and is lacquered to protect the gleaming brass. A bevelled glass crystal adds an elegant touch to this handsome clock. Mounted on our own hand crafted solid mahogany base this heirloom quality clock will enhance the elegance of any room.The clock mounted on the base measures 12"long X 3-3/4" deep X 9" tall. The quartz ships bell movement rings a beautiful electronic ships bell tone. In the naval tradition the bell sounds once at 12:30 and a bell is added every 1/2 hour until it reaches eight bells at 4:00. The ring pattern repeats every four hours to indicate traditional on board watch intervals. The bell tone is adjustable and can be turned off if desired. Batteries included. The Navigator is available with traditional silver face or with a black face.
